Hooper Photography is owned and operated by Harold & Loyce Hooper, and their daughter, Melanie, known as Mel. Our studio/photo gallery is located at 3557 Highway 70 on a scenic, 64 acre farm on Highway 70 between Waverly & McEwen, TN in Humphreys County.
The Hoopers also operate, by appointment, a photography studio in historic downtown Dickson, TN at 126 N. Main Street located in Dickson County.
The Hoopers offer a full service studio which includes photographing families, children, & brides. They are accomplished photographers of high school seniors, sports, proms, and other school activities.
The staff at Hooper Photography strive daily to deliver friendly and courteous service to their many loyal customers. Loyce is the business and marketing manager, while Harold and Mel are the creators of the many imaginative images. Their work can be viewed at the studio in Waverly, TN or in Dickson, TN. They are very excited that their work is also displayed at Opry Mills Mall and Bellevue Mall in Nashville, TN and many other locations throughout the midstate area.
Harold has studied at the North Georgia School of Photography and has mentored under various leaders in the photographic industry. He is currently certified by the Professional Photographers of America, a position which is highly coveted in the photographic industry. He also serves as Secretary in the Tennessee Professional Photographers' Board of Directors.
Mel has been with the studio for five years and is now the "official" high school senior photographer. In keeping with family tradition, she has studied under and has been mentored by her father, Harold. The same great dedication to detail can be seen in the quality of her work. Her style and ability when working with the teenagers is unsurpassed by anyone. Our seniors love her and have so much fun at their session, they hate to see the session end. They often come by the studio just to visit and talk with Mel.
